1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Montera newsroom platform, operated by Montera ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Nigeria with its office at 12 Adeola Hopewell Street, Victoria Island, Lagos 106104. By accessing the platform or subscribing to a membership, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Use of the Service and Acceptable Use
You may use Montera's reading membership, supporter tier, or institutional licence for personal or organisational reading purposes as described on our services page. You agree not to redistribute paywalled content beyond what your membership permits, attempt to circumvent access controls, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.
3. Intellectual Property
All articles, images, and editorial content published on Montera remain the property of Montera or its licensors. Institutional licence holders may distribute PDF editions strictly within the scope of their named readers, as described in their licence terms.
4. User Obligations
You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and for any activity conducted under your membership. Institutional licence administrators are responsible for managing their organisation's named reader seats.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Montera provides reported content in good faith and corrects errors when identified, but makes no warranty that content is free from all error at every moment of publication. To the extent permitted under Nigerian law, Montera's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount paid for the relevant membership in the preceding twelve months.
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
